3  Ways To Keep Your Brand In The Public Eye

The key to successfully marketing your brand is to maintain visibility. Have you ever heard of the saying, “Out of Sight out of Mind?” If people don’t remember you, you’re going to have a harder time marketing your brand. Today, we’re going to learn three ways to make sure your brand stays on on the top of people’s mind.

1. Get Influencers On Your Side

While most people consider influencers people with an huge following, I also encourage too look at micro-influencers as well. These are people with under 100k in followers, but they then to have to best engagement. You can look at their comments to get a feel for the type of engagement they have.  These could be bloggers, vloggers, podcasters, etc. There are literally influencers for every industry!

Influencer marketing is a great way to generate interest about your product or service to the audience most relevant to what you provide. Try to find those influencers on social media that you that align with your brand. Reach out to them and see what their terms and conditions are. Some may provide a review for a free sample and others will charge a fee for a promoted post.

2. Get Featured in the Media

This is where I come in as a publicist, but you should be leveraging the press! You should be pitching the press to help increase your credibility and thought leadership. You can pitch your brand to blogs, podcasts, YouTube channels, news outlets, and magazines.  As a business owner you should be speaking about your proven expertise or product. If you’re interested in using PR to get sales, you should be pitching for gift guides!

You can also write a press release and have it distributed to several media outlets at once (this also helps with your SEO), but that should be only for really big news such as collaborations, product launches, events, etc.

3. Build an Online Community

Get active on social media. If you are new to using social media, start with one platform. I’m a fan of repurposing my content to my other social media platforms. For example, I will record a video then turn into a blog post, a social media post, a podcast, and an email.

Also make sure you’re building up your email list so you can that you have an audience interested in your services or products. Finally engage with your followers. Talk to others in your industry. Share and curate content as well as creating it.
